Private beachfront villas on quiet Koh Pu island
Amenities
Banyan Bay Villas offers an outdoor swimming pool with a shallow end and sun loungers set directly on a private sandy beach. Guests can use free kayaks and stand-up paddle boards, while complimentary beach shoes are provided due to the pebbly shoreline. The property also has a shared lounge/TV area, luggage storage, and 24-hour security with fire extinguishers and security alarms.
Rooms
Each traditional Thai-style wooden villa has a private balcony overlooking a green garden, with simple décor made from natural materials. The resort sits 160 metres from a quiet sandy beach on Koh Pu, a 1-hour drive from Krabi Airport plus a 45-minute boat ride; boat transfers to Ao Nang (40 minutes) and Koh Lanta or Koh Phi Phi (50 minutes) are available. Staff can arrange tour bookings, massage services, laundry, and a chargeable shuttle, as well as motorbike and bicycle rentals. Free paddle boards, kayaks, and a small pool offer alternative water activities when the tide is low.
Family & Hospitality
The family-run property provides babysitting/child services, daily housekeeping, and a designated smoking area; the owner Kitima and her son Bastien speak English, French, and Thai. Guests have noted that the staff restocked the mini-bar, gave complimentary beach shoes, and offered a box of toys and floats for children. Two golden retrievers and a Pomeranian stay on site, and a friendly sea otter named Heng is known to swim with guests.
